Resumen

Este ensayo analiza el concepto de violencia de género, distinguiendo cuatro distintos sentidos y examinando su utilidad para el derecho y, en particular, sus posibles usos por parte de la legislación —es decir, la posibilidad de promulgar normas jurídicas específicas que hagan uso de ese concepto o tengan por objeto sancionar o prevenir las conductas que designa— y su potencial para la teoría del derecho —es decir, la posibilidad de utilizar este concepto de manera provechosa en el análisis del derecho vigente—.
