La libertad como fundamento de la redistribución: una perspectiva hegeliana

En este artículo, sostengo que, para Hegel, la libertad relacional es el fundamento normativo de la redistribución de la riqueza. Si bien la idea de que la libertad sustenta la redistribución no es en absoluto nueva y ha sido explorada tanto en el pensamiento político como en la literatura sobre Hegel, la contribución de este artículo es que vincula conceptualmente la justificación del derecho a la propiedad privada con la justificación de la redistribución. Sostengo que el principio de la libertad relacional que, como postula Hegel, justifica la propiedad privada y la convierte en una institución racional, sólo puede lograrse plenamente en las sociedades capitalistas modernas a través de la redistribución de la riqueza en su sentido más amplio.
